    Default Bars/Pubs/Restos Serving Local Beer

Spawning from the discussion in the Must Try Restaurants Thread, I thought it would be useful to maintain a list of local watering holes and restaurants that have local brewed beers on tap or serve local brewed bottled beer.

I will attempt to maintain the master list in this posting. This is most definitely a work in progress.

    On Tap - Yellowhead Lager

    L'azia Downtown (10200 102 Ave):
    On Tap - Yellowhead Lager

    Moriarty's
    (10154 100 ST)
    Amber’s Australian Mountain Pepper Berry

    Original Joe's (12520 102 Ave)
On Tap - Alley Kat Aprikat, Alley Kat Full Moon

    The Public House
    (8032 104 ST):
On Tap - Alley Kat Aprikat, Yellowhead Lager

    Strathern Pub (9514 87 ST)
    On Tap - Yellowhead

    Transcend Cafe (10349 Jasper Avenue)
On Tap - Yellowhead, Alley Kat Bitter Truth ESB
Bottles - Alley Kat Full Moon (341 ml), Alley Kat Belgian Style Quad (650 ml)

    Wunderbar (8120 101 ST):

Surprisingly, the Strathearn Pub carries Yellowhead on tap.

Here's a fairly complete list of places to get Yellowhead.

Maybe extrapolate all the bars & restaurants for your list ?

Pourhouse has weekly rotating specials and often includes local (Edmonton, regional, and Canadian) microbrews.

@ Shawnessy83 - Don't forget Original Joe's on 102nd Ave. You'll find Alley Kat Aprikat and Full Moon on tap and I think bottles there as well.

@ IanO - fixed this: all of the places for alley kat - http://www.alleykatbeer.com/where_to_enjoy.htm

It's worth noting that Stadium liquor at Jasper & 85th street both carries Alley Kat and is a dog friendly store.. so you can take the dog for a nice walk in Kinnard Ravine, then stop for a 6 pack of Charlie Flint's and a dog treat on your way home :P

Have never been here, might have to check it out now. I love that they advertise that they only use local draught

I've been down to Wunderbar a couple of times before. Great selections of brews to be had there. But the last time I was there, probably last fall, the inside somehow reeked of bad milk (I really do hope that doesn't occur very often, as my sense of smell is sometimes almost hypersensitive and it was a bit cold to go drinking outside on the patio there at the time).

I also forgot to mention that Suede Lounge (on 118th & Jasper in the building just east of Earls Tin Palace) has Yellowhead om tap.

Had a great dinner at Ousia on Whyte Ave. today.

They had several local, Canadian, and international microbrews on offer:

    Yellowhead Lager
    Yukon Red Amber Ale
    St. Ambroise Noire
    Granville Island IPA
