    Former Global meteorologist Claire is leaving CBC to run her own production company.

    Yeah, I caught that last night. Didn't quite get the gist of it until later as I had CBC on in the background, when I started seeing the old clips I figured she was leaving.

    I love the old bird. I wish her the best.

    Claire used to work as a meteorologist for my father, she was always full of energy and laughter.

    Come to think of it, he might have even hired her.

    It would appear that Claire will maintain an Edmonton linkage working with Edmonton founded ANAID productions, of Mentors, Family Restaurant and Quon Dynasty fame.

    I doubt we've seen the last of Claire in front of the camera though. She has the rare gift of being able to project humor and warmth through the visual medium of television.

    Wow, didn't see that coming. Never would have thought she was politically bent or goofy enough to join the Greens. I suppose she's going to stop shaving her armpits and legs next.

    you see green party politics synonymous with making a personal grooming choices? seriously now? what sort of nose-picking party do you support?
