Downtown Edmonton is home to a collection of public art that is diverse, eclectic and compelling. The art reveals the cityís history, our ever-changing culture and our ideas about what is meaningful. Like with all art, Edmontonians have favourites and not-so-favourites. Regardless, the artwork stands as a statement to the many sides of our cityís character. Edmontonís public art collection thrives thanks to the efforts of the Alberta Foundation for the Arts, the Edmonton Arts Council, and the Art & Design in Public Places Program (The Places) of The Works International Visual Arts Society. Enjoy!

    -----------------------------

Printed brochures for the art walk are available at downtown hotels or the Edmonton Welcome Centre, just two blocks east on Jasper Ave (9797 Jasper Ave). START THE TOUR at 100 St. & Jasper Ave. This site is walking distance from the Westin, Fairmont Hotel MacDonald, the Courtyard by Mariott, Union Bank Inn, as well as the Central LRT station START THE TOUR at 100 St. & Jasper Ave. Please scroll right for our two mobile friendly options.

Interesting that one of the highlights on the brochure is located at Chez Pierre 'Adult Entertainment' building on 105 St.....

I agree. Much better than what was there. Just a bit bold perhaps to have that on the marketing materials, IMO....
