104 Street Feast walking food tour launches Sept. 3

    LIANE FAULDER

A new and fun food concept launches in September on 104 Street. Called the 104th Street Feast, the concept is the inaugural outing for Edmonton Food Tours, a new company offering walking food tours of Edmonton neighbourhoods.

Full disclosure. I am one of the guides for this new venture, along with the lovely local chef Cindy Lazarenko of the Culina Family. Saturday, Sept. 3 marks the first day for this tour, which will run every Saturday until Oct. 8. It starts at 10 a.m. that day.

The food tour, which profiles Edmontonís spectacular City Market, starts out with a full-on Ukrainian brunch, care of chef Brad Smoliak of Kitchen by Brad (located just a block from the market at 10130 105 St.). Then, well-sated, we gather at the south end of 104 Street and begin our tour.
