    Default Church Street Heritage Area

Found this link https://www.edmonton.ca/city_governm...tage-area.aspx and I think this is an easy way to try to build on the slow success of the Quarters without having to spend nearly as much. Who knew we had such a concentration of religious facilities for so long. Guess they built up with all the wild west developing to save them. And continuing to this day. Very easy to make this a secondary tourist walk as its near downtown and surrounded by Little Italy and Chinatown. Anyone know why nothing has been done with this since 2011?
My antidepressent drug of choice is running. Cheaper with less side effects!

My guess is because its 'In The Hood' and a lot of Edmontonians avoid low income areas like the plague. Its a shame tho. It is a truly unique feature and easy selling point for Tourism. Hell it was even mentioned in Ripleys Believe It Or Not once.
