    Default Ward 7 representation

Hello everyone, long time no chat. Just popping out of exile for a quick minute to post my opinion regarding Ward 7. After years of trying to work with Tony Caterina I have finally concluded that he has been an ineffective voice for the ward, and hasn't taken many of the ward's issues seriously. I am very happy that Kris Andreychuk has thrown his hat into the ring, I believe he is the voice on council that ward 7 needs

Vote how you feel you want to, but if you feel the same way I do, please consider a change this election

From what I know of Andreychuk, I'd say he'd be a great representative for the ward.
They're going to park their car over there. You're going to park your car over here. Get it?

He seems like a good guy, with some good experience, but....

His published platform is weak. Basically lists a few areas of concern and says "we'll do something about this". I read it but I have no idea how he would lean on any given issue.

Unfortunately there is quite a few decent candidates running in Ward 7 this year which means once again a vote split with Caterina keeping his seat. Ugh.

As mediocre as Tony Caterina is, he'd be better than Mimi Williams.

Tony Caterina isn't terrible. Ever since the City Center Airport closed down he has been pretty good. I will probably vote for him.

And I don't think Mimi Williams is a bad person, but I think she would be a terrible councillor.

I am not confident with any of the other candidates.

I have to agree with MrOilers. With the loss of a few other common sense councilors Tony might be one of the few remaining. Most of the others I see are trying to fix social problems beyond their control.

Only 4/21 stations reporting so far, but Tony Caterina is trailing Kris Andreychuk by a 38%-25% margin...

It's a lead of 100 votes for Andreychuk (14/21 polls).

TonCat is up by 154 votes with 20/21 precincts in... Would've loved an upset here.

    Tony made it.
But Andreychuk gave him a run for his money.
