Default Who are the Ward 6 Candidates - 2017 edition

First off, thank your creators there aren't 19 candidates this time around. When there's a forum with that many people vying for a seat, depth takes a back seat to sound bites.

    Bill Knight
    https://www.votebill.ca/
I think "mandatory weekly door knocking" is a bit much. Other than that, many of his so-called common sense priorities are really not that much different from what's already being done.

    Scott McKeen
    http://www.scottmckeen.ca/
I don't agree with everything that the Patriarch On A Vespa has said and done as a Councillor, but he's been good overall. He's very responsive with any issues I've emailed him and those responses have been refreshingly BS-free, very visible in the community, and a very approachable guy. So unless some horrible secret about his personal life is revealed, as a popular incumbent he's going back to City Hall.

    Tish Prouse
    http://tishprouse.ca/
I stopped at "In May 2017, Kerry Diotte offered his endorsement of Tish Prouse for Ward 6..."

    Adil Pirbhi
    http://daveberta.ca/edmonton-election/
Isn't he the fringe candidate from the last election who kept getting reprimanded by forum moderators for foul language? To me, he sounded like a stereotypical angry ill-informed taxi driver ("Iveson's brother runs Uber!").

I voted for Heather Mackenzie last time but plan to vote for Scott McKeen this time. Your assessment of Scott's record on Council is similar to mine. And the other 3 candidates don't impress me.

Since Adil Pirbhai got only 177 votes last time it's fair to describe him as a fringe candidate. But the rest of your description doesn't square with the little I know about the man.

^^You stopped reading about a candidate because Kerry Diotte endorsed him?

Looking forward to the forum to learn more, but based on the available webpages, I see differentiation for each candidate: Knight (accountability), McKeen (experience) and Prouse (new proposal to address homelessness).
