    Notice the following:
    - So few skyscrapers
    - Edmonton House under construction
    - No ECC, just Woodwards
    - Tegler, post office, courthouse and 1950s City Hall are still standing
    - RBC and BoM buildings at Jasper/101 St
    - Hotel Mac Annex
    - No Muttart, just an expanse of empty land
    - James MacDonald Bridge being built

Looks like there was a processing plant or something there (smoke stack). I never knew that before.

    Ski jump over Conners Road.

^Read down the Reddit thread for a link to it - it was an incinerator.

Obviously no Convention Centre. That was where China Town began.

Connors Road ski jump and a field they would later call Millwoods...

^Actually that field would be Ottewell I think. Mill Woods would but much further south.

So, had the METS road plans had been killed off by this point in time?

METS pretty much had been but the McKinnon Freeway wasn't killed until 1974. It would have connected to the James MacDonald.
