Sad to see another police shooting of an unarmed black father of two in Sacramento.

They shot him in the back, hardly possible that he was aiming a gun at the police.

Pathologist says Stephon Clark shot 7 times from behind

A pathologist hired by attorneys for the family of an unarmed man killed by Sacramento police says an independent autopsy shows Stephon Clark was shot seven times from behind and took up to 10 minutes to die.

Dr. Bennet Omalu told a news conference Friday that Clark was shot in the right back side of the neck and had a cluster of wounds in the upper right side of his back.

The pathologist says any one of those wounds would have been fatal, and death would have taken three to 10 minutes.

Police have said Clark was facing and advancing toward officers who thought he had a gun when they fired, and then could not approach Clark for five minutes.

It turned out Clark only had a cellphone.

The pathologist says Clark also suffered an eighth gunshot wound to the thigh that occurred as he was falling or already on the ground.

Clark was killed March 18 by police responding to a call of someone breaking car windows.
Looks like grandmothers are going to need to be provided guns to protect themselves from shooters attacking their children in their backyard.

Lets see the NRA back this and push to arm black women.

    Because of course they do.

White House calls police shootings of black men 'a local matter'

Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump has encouraged police officers to be rougher on suspects they arrest. He has deployed federal authorities to stem gun violence in Chicago. And he has repeatedly called for police nationwide to implement tough-on-crime policies.

But when it comes to the deaths of black men at the hands of police, Trump believes those incidents are a "local matter" that "should be left up to the local authorities," White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said Wednesday.
